The fight for democracy against Terminids and Automatons in Helldivers 2 has been going on for weeks now, and despite players fighting tooth and nail, several locations are overrun with enemies. The enemies have taken over several planets, and the players now seem to understand its severity.

One of the most infamous Automaton planets, Malevelon Creek, recently fell to the robotic forces, and the community mourned before they tried to liberate it. The aliens have now entered Super Earth territory, causing havoc all over the planet.

A Helldivers 2 player and Redditor Cheedows took to the r/Helldivers subreddit and shared an in-game briefing message saying, “It’s so over.” It has been reported that Automatons have entered the Super Earth territory and are burning down the houses, adding that the Terminid Control System is ready to be activated.

“Despite the valorous efforts of the Helldivers, Automaton marauders have invaded Super Earth territory. Patriotic citizens mourn as their sufficiently-sized homes burn to the ground,” the in-game briefing reporting the Helldivers‘ failure reads. “Super Earth citizens demand justice, and they will receive it. But for now, the Terminid Control System is ready for activation.”

A player replying to this about the Automatons entering Super Earth said that more than “200k [players] squatting in Erata Prime for over a week doing god knows what.” Erata Prime is a planet in the Umlaut Sector, which is also home to Fenrir III, Meridia, and Turing. Another player added that they too did not know how to defend Super Earth as they weren’t able to see over 10 yards.

While this is surely sad news, players appreciated the satire along the lines of the major orders. Players are excited about what’s coming next and are pumped to take on the robotic aliens. Many are also proud of their attempts and about those they saved. One player even added that burning homes will be “rebuilt with the parts from dead Automatons.”

The Fight to Liberate Veld From Bugs Is Already Afoot

After failing to defend Super Earth, players are now fighting the bugs on planet Veld in the Orion Sector and trying to eradicate them off its surface before they spread. The fight is now and will continue for a few days, with a large number of players flocking to save the planet.

Veld is similar to the lost Malevelon Creek, which fell a few days ago, but the desperate fight to take it back is also underway. The fight to take back Veld will also be a hard one, but over 180k players have already joined the fight to liberate the planet.

Players completing this Major Order will be getting significantly better rewards, including 45 Warbond Medals to unlock items from the free and premium versions of the battle pass in Helldivers 2. There has never been a bigger fight than Veld, with thousands joining, but it will take quite some time before players can enjoy the sweet taste of victory.
