The issues in Helldivers 2 have been for long and developer Arrowhead has dropped a number of patches trying to fix them. Instead, the patches have only made thing worse, bringing more issues than fixing and fans are now getting tired of complaining.

One player took to the game’s subreddit and posted a long thread of issues they have been facing while playing on PC. The player said that the issues in the game is “unnerving” and that if a patch fixes something, it brings more issues or “alters the current ones.”

The issues the player listed they were facing include getting locked at 45-50 FPS on 40-60% GPU load after opening any menu in the game. Players crashing around them. The superior packaging methodology isn’t working and they can’t play with people they haven’t added on Steam as their friends list is gone.

Aight, that’s it. I am done, I am done with the game for now.

They also couldn’t complete some side and main objectives due to the touchscreen not displaying anything or even reacting. They have also encountered stuttering, weird weather change, and more and this are the issues they have been seeing “on a daily, hourly basis.” They added that the game’s unbearable now and they won’t be playing it for now.

It is normal for live-service games or any game for that matter to have some issues but Helldivers 2 has not seen so many issues since the first month of its release. However, lately, every match breaks more than brings fixes and this is now forcing fans to turn away from the game.

In the reply to OP’s thread of issues, one Helldivers 2 player said that whenever they reload their breaker, it randomly loads 1 single bullet and they need to reload again. They added, “It’s a magazine how is that possible.”

Players have said that a multiplayer co-op game that wants players to play with their friends doesn’t let players join their friends or invite them and they can’t understand why it is not a priority to fix. One player said that they joined a game today but after a glitch they were back in the ship.

Players have called the technical state of the game is “dire” right now and Arrowhead doesn’t have any clue on how to fix the game without breaking it. The developer needs to address the issues soon enough it if doesn’t want to lose any more players.
