Recently, a gamer decided to return to Helldivers 2 hoping to see if Arrowhead Game Studios finally fixed the issue where Automatons are able to shoot through rocks, but unfortunately, this problem still exists.

In the Reddit post, the player shared a meme and claimed that they tried their best to play the game once again but it’s still annoying.

Other players then pointed out that it’s not the difficulty level that stops players from fighting Automatons, it is the frustrating mechanics and annoying gameplay.

Not just that, players have also pointed out in the past that Rocket Devastators are quite overpowered in the game and Arrowhead needs to nerf them in order to make the Automaton missions less annoying.

Helldivers 2’s First Major Update, Escalation of Freedom, Will Drop On August 6th

A major update for Helldivers 2, Escalation of Freedom, was announced recently and players hope that all these issues will be addressed in this update. Arrowhead has stated that they have spent a lot of time understanding what the community wants and hope that everyone finds this update entertaining.

In a PlayStation Blog post, it has been revealed that the update will add a new difficulty level to the game, new Automaton and Terminid enemies as well as dangerous swamps.

Along with many other background changes, this update, which will roll out on August 6th, will also address the problem of grief kicking in Helldivers 2. With the new update right around the corner, an Arrowhead employee managed to expose the true intentions of gamemaster Joel.

The community speculates that gamemaster Joel will play a key role in introducing the game’s third rumored faction, the Illuminate. Even in the announcement trailer, Arrowhead’s CCO, Johan Pilestedt confirmed that players should expect to see some surprises in the update.
