Helldivers 2 continues to be a standout success in the world of live service games. This title is made so special by the dedication of its developers. Arrowhead Game Studios has made sure that every player who buys this game has the best time possible. This is nothing new either; they have been constantly working on making this game a polished experience since the moment it was launched.

This cooperative shooter is best known for its intense gameplay. It puts players in the middle of a sprawling warzone where they have to fight a multitude of enemies that would come at them from all directions. But those are not the only enemies they see or experience; they are frustrated by one more thing that just sneaks up on them.

Helldivers 2 cannot take any more of those annoying debuffs!

Years ago, when Dark Souls launched, players were exploring every high and low of that game. Everywhere they went, they found annoying enemies—some powerful, others weak. The game was never easy until they reached Blighttown.

This location is not as easy as the other ones. It’s covered with a sludge that is poisonous. Due to the same sludge, players cannot walk very well, and due to the same sludge, players also cannot dodge. Combine all this with a bunch of enemies who either do toxic damage or poison. This town was a recipe for annoyance.

No one likes these locations—places that are intentionally made to be difficult. Places that give players annoying debuffs that make the game unfairly harder. This is why many Helldivers 2 players are complaining nowadays.

Imagine how horrifying the Illuminates would be when the Automatons in Helldivers 2 are already quite deadly.

They are not able to tolerate the debuffs that this game inflicts upon them on every corner. Wherever they go, they are met with an annoying thing that makes them slow. From environmental hazards to enemy attacks, this significantly affects the game’s fluidity for them. Here’s what a fan called Perfect_Track_3647 had to say on Reddit.

Hunters slow you, little green bastards slow you, big green bastards slow you, bushes slow you, mud slows you, tremors slow you no matter what you do, the stupid god damn blue plant slows you to a crawl. It feels like every little thing gives you a slow debuff and it’s AWFUL. The amount of times I’ve died because something hit me with a slow debuff and I had no way out is insane. You get punished for not paying attention, sure. But you also get punished for just existing.

While there are a bunch of in-game items that can help players mitigate this issue, such as various perks and equipment such as shield backpacks, etc., they are not enough. Players have been asking the developers to either give gamers a solution to this issue or just remove it altogether.

Knowing Arrowhead Game Studios, they would definitely try to fix this issue one way or another. They have been carefully listening to fan feedback and fixing problems for the longest time. Gamers just have to convince them that it is needed.

On the other hand, Helldivers 2 continues to get numerous new updates consisting of new equipment and enemy types.

The rumors of Helldivers 2’s arrival on Xbox are inbound

Will lasers and flamethrowers prove to be enough against the incoming threat in Helldivers 2?

While the game has some minor issues, it still remains one of those games that Xbox fans are eager to play. It’s been a while since they asked the developers to bring it to their preferred platform.

If recent rumors are to be trusted, the initial talks about this transition have finally started. But anything would only solidify if any of the involved developers and publishers made an announcement. It can still be a bunch of nothing burgers, but it never hurts to hope.
