According to the recent announcement on the official Helldivers 2 Twitter/X account, a new bill has been passed on Super Earth that will allow Class C citizens and higher the opportunity to own a pet fish, where citizens can submit a form with their pet’s name to acquire one.
At first glance, this looks like a major joke from the development team at Arrowhead Game Studios, as there are a few random posts, especially on the game’s official discord, that tend to be aimed at generating humor, but at the time of writing, we have no idea whether or not this is real.
If this announcement is true and isn’t intended to be a joke, there are plenty of gamers who are already jumping ahead and theorizing that our dreadnoughts could potentially be getting fish tanks for us to put our new pet in.
Players Are Already Willing to Lay Down Their Lives for a Pet Fish in Helldivers 2
