Helldivers 2 players are committed to fighting for the freedom of Super Earth and its people against the hostile forces that come from above. The video game is set in a fictional universe torn by war against different enemy factions and soldiers will require a steady stream of support and supplies from somewhere.
The Automatons are a massive headache for the gaming community and players noticed that their supply lines magically reconnected. This could have been a simple mistake or someone is tampering with things they should not and the prime suspect would be Joel, the omnipotent Game Master.
The Helldivers 2 Community Is Upset About the Sudden Reconnection of Enemy Supply Lines
Arrowhead Game Studios did an impressive job with the different enemy factions but fans believe the developers could do better. Players cornered director Johan Pilestedt about new bugs to fight that would improve the enemy variety in Helldivers 2. The player has grown tired of fighting the same enemies in an endless cycle.
Some players are annoyed that their efforts to keep certain enemies in check are disregarded after seeing their supply lines reconnect without proper explanation. The only logical answer would be for someone with a higher power to pull some strings and give this enemy faction a fighting chance.
…stop cheating Joel! The Automatons did not reconnect their supply lines, where is this coming from?!

It wasn’t long ago when the players were goading Helldivers 2′s Joel to crank up the heat to intensify the war effort. Perhaps this is another act of retaliation by the game master.

The Game Master could play both sides to tip the scales and prolong the Second Galactic War. Joel can be reasonable at times and even gave some peace offerings before, however, this supply lines debacle is too big of a favor for the enemy despite the best efforts to eliminate as many of them as possible and to gain control of the planet.

Some would argue it made sense for the Automatons to regain more supply lines given the slow pace of the community. Perhaps this search for a culprit will end with looking in the mirror.
Regardless, players are adamant about knowing what is happening on the side of the Game Master. The overseer must have a definitive explanation for this problem.
The Game Master Could Be a Secret Sleeper Agent for Helldivers 2’s Automatons
The Automaton faction has grown ambitious over the past few weeks and breached the communication lines of Super Earth. They have taken the gloves off and are fighting dirty by tapping into private information and destabilizing the security of the planet through cyber attacks.
There is no telling as to whether Joel had something to do with reconnecting enemy supply lines but it does not change the fact that the Automatons are here to stay. Players will have to find a way to get around them.
The gaming community is too invested in the game and it evokes certain emotions. Developers should tread carefully with what they do.
Joel could play both sides long enough to see which will give first. It is only a matter of time before the war blows over.
