Almost every complaint about Helldivers 2 is mainly about weapons, Stratagems, enemy factions, armors, or gameplay, but you will rarely hear anyone asking Arrowhead Game Studios to add a specific voice line in the game that will be useful when they are in the middle of the battle trying to open a bunker.

A fan has asked Arrowhead to add some sort of voice line in the game that players can use to invite their teammates to help them unlock a bunker. The game indeed has a voice chat, but some players find it way more convenient to play the game without opening their mics, especially because of how toxic gaming can be.

Helldivers 2 Needs A Voice Line For Bunkers

A player on the r/Helldivers2 subreddit is shining a spotlight on a problem that many players have run into. The Bunker, also known as Vault, Friendship Door, or Double Door can be very useful during a mission, but it requires two Helldivers to coordinate to push a button at the same time to open the door.

So, if you’re on a solo mission, there’s no way you can open the Bunker to loot the valuable items inside.

The player suggested that Arrowhead Game Studios should add a voice line in the title that says something like, “Help me open the door!” to make sure players help out their squadmates when they wish to open the bunker.

One can always ping the bunker to put everyone’s attention on it but sometimes players miss it due to the chaos on the battlefield. There is also the option to open your mic and ask teammates to help you out, but many players prefer to keep their mics muted.

If Arrowhead Buffed Up The Rewards In The Bunkers Would It Help the Problem?

Players suggested that Arrowhead could buff up items inside the bunkers to convince players to help out their teammates or in classic Helldivers fashion, the bunker door should be destroyable using explosives.

The involuntary voice lines in Helldivers 2 can be very dramatic indeed but players need an option to use the “I need help!” voice line to coordinate with their squad. Helldivers 2 desperately needs this as many popular PvE and PvP games have used this feature since day one.

Players were able to find a trick through which they were able to enter the bunker alone but there was a catch. Players would back up the Patriot Exosuit towards the bunker’s door and exit it while going backward, this trick would somehow put the players inside the bunker.

However, the items in the bunker can only be picked up when the bunker door has been opened using the buttons outside, making this trick pointless.

This feature is one of the many things players have been eagerly waiting for as Helldivers 2 is slowly starting to lose popularity.

Do you think adding voice lines to the game would fix this issue? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
