Two of the most iconic and memorable actors who have been a part of the DCEU are Henry Cavill and Christian Bale. The former played the role of Superman in Zack Snyder’s universe and became one of the most distinctive versions of this revered character. On the other hand, is Bale, who played the role of Batman, in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy.
He was, arguably, one of the best versions of the Caped Crusader, with the films and characters having a distinctive beauty and uniqueness to them. It is safe to say that both of these actors had a very big impact, not only on the fans but the franchise as a whole.
Knowing this, it is impossible not to imagine what could have been accomplished if these two characters shared the screen. It would seem that this was actually under consideration at DC Studios, with the franchise planning to make Nolan and Snyder work together in Man of Steel.

The two critically acclaimed directors were considering making Henry Cavill’s Superman movie part of Christian Bale’s Batman, universe. That would have certainly completely changed every single movie that came forth after that. Ben Affleck would have never been cast as Batman, and perhaps, Bale would have continued working in this franchise. Unfortunately, however, the two decided against this, and Man of Steel went on to start a universe of its own.
