While Arnold Schwarzenegger has done a whole gamut of hardcore action films, it is his role in James Cameron’s Terminator films that gave him his superstar identity. The appearance of this picture online sent social media into a tizzy, with many fans commenting on how Cavill looked perfect for the part. While it was obvious that this was freshly created art that had replaced Schwarzenegger with Cavill, fans could not help speculating about the possibility of a reboot of the hit film series, especially since James Cameron had spoken about it earlier. The director in an interview with GQ, said,

If I were to do another Terminator film and maybe try to launch that franchise again, which is in discussion, but nothing has been decided, I would make it much more about the AI side of it than bad robots gone crazy.”

While this project isn’t in the pipeline at present, Terminator fans will be hoping that Cameron takes the decision to re-launch the franchise with a fresh look.
