The latest film in the Fast and Furious franchise initiates the end of the action-packed movie series that started with the 2001 film The Fast and the Furious. And it is now assumed that Henry Cavill, the former Superman actor, could also join the franchise’s journey to its end. There have been rumors about Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. in the upcoming films. However, considering the number of DCU actors in the film series, it is now being speculated that the Man of Steel could also follow in on the steps of his fellow DC stars.

Henry Cavill Speculated to Join DC Stars in Fast And Furious
Dwayne Johnson has constantly claimed that he would never return as Hobbs in the popular Fast and Furious franchise after his last appearance in the 2019 film Hobbs and Shaw. However, the Black Adam star stunned fans with his surprise appearance in the mid-credits of Fast X.
With his appearance in the mid-credits, it is speculated that Johnson could join Dominic and his crew in the next film and help them go against their new enemy, Dante. Gal Gadot, who joined the franchise as Gisele Yashar in Fast Five, also returned right before the credits roll, hinting that she would also join Dominic Toretto’s fight against Jason Momoa’s Dante Reyes.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods actress Helen Mirren also portrays an ally of Dom. Jason Momoa will surely reprise his villainous characters in the next film. And with all the DC stars joining the action-adventure franchise, many are now rooting for Henry Cavill to do the same.
While nothing is confirmed yet, the Justice League star has shown his potential as an action star in films like Mission Impossible and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. This reunion of DCU stars in another universe could be a treat for DC fans. And fans might also get to see the combat between Superman and Black Adam actors.
Henry Cavill Reportedly Wanted to Join the Action Franchise
Surrounding the release of F9, rumors started circulating that the Immortals star was interested in joining the Fast and Furious franchise. Insider Daniel Richtman claimed that after starring in DC films and the popular Netflix series The Witcher, Henry Cavill was showing interest in joining the action-adventure franchise.
It turned out to be a rumor only, as the actor did not join the film series. However, if Cavill is still interested and the makers of the Fast and Furious wish, he could side with either Dom or Dante in the next film in the franchise. And the 40-year-old actor could probably give fans another viral moment as the arms reload from the 2018 Mission: Impossible – Fallout.
