A video on YouTube alleged that Cavill was acting like a misogynist. The video stated that from a leaked script of the DeuxMoi podcast, Henry Cavill had been a misogynist person on set and his gaming addiction got to a point where he would cause delays in filming! The video also stated that the Man of Steel actor allegedly became a misogynist and did not like to do n*de scenes at all.

“Henry Cavill had issues doing nude and shirtless scenes on The Witcher set. Cavill did not wish to do any romantic scenes whatsoever. He decided on his own that he no longer wanted to do any shirtless scenes or scenes that involved kissing and n*dity in them.”

The video further continued,

“He was becoming more and more disrespectful towards women. It came to a point where he was allegedly ignoring and mistreating the women that were on the set. The showrunner then tried to push the actor to a point where he would want to leave the show, which made Netflix intervene and fire him.”

Although the video based its source on the DeuxMoi podcast, nothing has been confirmed yet as these statements remain mere rumors. The rumors are indeed bad but behind-the-scenes footage of the actor working on The Witcher contradicts the statements made by the video.

In behind-the-scenes footage, Cavill was seen to be training really hard for an intense scene that he had to act in. The stunt coordinator Wolfgang Stegemann revealed to Entertainment Weekly that the actor would do about 90 takes before he finalized the shot.

“Henry is super precise and his passion is just outstanding. I love it so much because [Cavill] wants to have it perfect. When I was like, ‘That was great.’ He said, ‘Eh, let’s do one more.’”

With a plethora of reasons and rumors, Cavill will be last seen as Geralt of Rivia when The Witcher Season 3 Vol. 2 releases on Netflix on 27th July. As for the rest of the series, The Witcher is available to stream on Netflix.
