Henry Cavill has always had a tough job trusting companies with his projects. After being fired from James Gunn’s DCU and Netflix’s The Witcher, the Man of Steel actor would have left a bad taste in his mouth in trusting these big franchises again.

And one of the reasons that the Justice League actor trusted his dream franchise, the Warhammer 40,000 universe to Amazon Studios. Although it wasn’t decided at the time, Cavill knew that he had to let go of his trusting nature while on the sets of Netflix’s Enola Holmes 2.

Being left with no other choice, the actor went ahead by pushing his gaming dream by bringing the Warhammer 40,000 game series to the television screens. Being backed by Amazon Studios, Cavill talked about how he has left trusting big corporations but would love to go with Amazon Studios with his dream universe.

“It’s always so difficult to tell where things are going, and what will happen. I have experience with franchises going places, and going quiet, and other franchises popping up and becoming exciting. It’s all about the decision-making up top, and everything else that goes with it. I’m merely the hired work.”

Henry Cavill stated these lines while talking about another one of the fan-favorite franchises Enola Holmes and its subsequent sequels. This further proves that Cavill had already been distrustful of his other franchises during his tumultuous times before the hammer fell on him.

With Amazon Studios and billionaire Jeff Bezos at the head, it has been speculated that Henry Cavill has literally unlimited potential with his franchise. Based on the iconic strategic game, the world of Warhammer 40,000 is vast enough to include seasons’ worth of storyline and spin-offs of several notable characters.

And since Amazon Studios is behind the Enola Holmes actor, it has been rumored that the project will have no troubles financially. With Cavill busy shooting Guy Ritchie’s The Ministery of Ungentlemanly Warfare, people can only hope for the actor’s busy schedule to complete and start working on his own magnum opus of a cinematic universe.
