Brad Pitt, Hollywood’s heartthrob, is no stranger to the ups and downs of love and life. His personal life became a regular topic of tabloid gossip following his widely reported split from Angelina Jolie, when the latter filed for divorce in 2016, citing irreconcilable differences. However, he gave ‘love’ another shot last year by dating Ines de Ramon, a jewelry designer 29 years younger than him.
Surprisingly, Ramon is not the one who stands out among the chaos by bringing joy, laughter, and, of course, a support system into the actor’s life. Rather, Pitt has his dear friend, the Hangover star Bradley Cooper, by his side. The former once acknowledged that their friendship served as a lighthouse for him in his darkest moments. More significantly, they have stayed close friends throughout it all.

During an award speech at The National Board of Review Annual Awards Gala, Brad Pitt thanked fellow actor Bradley Cooper for helping him “get sober”. The former took his sweet time to express gratitude to the Thelma & Louise star, who handed Pitt, 59, the Best Supporting Actor trophy for Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, saying:
“Bradley just put his daughter to bed and rushed over here to do this. He’s a sweetheart. I got sober because of this guy and every day has been happier ever since.”
So, he got his back from his close friend and it’s not Ines de Ramon, whom he is reportedly dating. The Ad Astra star had previously told the New York Times::
“I removed my drinking privilege,” and began attending a male Alcoholics Anonymous meeting because he would “taken things as far as I could take it.”
Pitt expressed his admiration for the men in his recovery group, saying to the NY Times that he was struck by their honesty and openness:
“You had all these men sitting around being open and honest in a way I have never heard. It was this safe space where there was little judgment, and therefore little judgment of yourself.”
In 2017, Pitt informed GQ that he stopped drinking because
“I do not want to live that way anymore. I just ran it to the ground,” Pitt said. “I had to step away for a minute. And truthfully I could drink a Russian under the table with his own vodka. I was a professional. I was good.”

Since late 2022, Brad Pitt has been reportedly dating jewelry designer Ines de Ramon. Moreover, before their first sighting together in November (last year), sources claimed to PEOPLE that the couple had been dating for “a few months”. Ramon was earlier married to The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley.
Following a three-year marriage that began in February 2019, they were eventually divorced in 2022. The jewelry designer and Pitt reportedly met through a mutual friend, and the two hit it off so well that the Interview with the Vampire actor has brought her to several events.
Following his divorce from Angelina Jolie, Pitt talked about going through a period of self-reflection, which helped him discover another love: sculpture. He told The Financial Times of his new interest in October 2022:
“I was looking at my own life and really concentrating on owning my own s—: where was I complicit in failures in my relationships, where have I misstepped. For me, it was born out of ownership of what I call a radical inventory of self, getting really brutally honest with me, and taking account of those I may have hurt.”
The insider told PEOPLE that the relationship between Pitt and Ramon is “going very strong”:
“They truly enjoy each other’s company and are very into each other. It’s apparent to anyone who sees them together.”
On the work front, the actor will next be seen in Wolves, an upcoming mystery action-thriller film written and directed by Jon Watts. George Clooney and Pitt star in and co-produce the film. It will be released on Apple TV+ as part of Apple Original Films.
