During the final seasons of the show, Sheen and Cryer had a fallout and he was replaced by Ashton Kutcher. However, Angus T. Jones, who portrayed the role of Jake Harper in the series also had an outburst against his own show!

In his teenage years, T. Jones went on to become one of the highest-paid child actors of all time for his role as Jake Harper in Two and a Half Men. During the final seasons of the show, Charlie Sheen was replaced by Ashton Kutcher.

In a public appearance (via The Things), Angus T. Jones had a meltdown and went on to rant about the television show. Talking about the effects of shows on people’s brains, T. Jones had much to say.

The actor even went so far as to call his show “filth” and pleaded with the audience not to watch the show. The statements sparked controversy and several rumors were spread on the internet about the on-set activities of Two and a Half Men.

Being at the center of much speculation and discussion, Angus T. Jones issued an apology 24 hours after his rant. Stating that he was “blessed” with an opportunity, T. Jones apologized profusely for his rant.

He further commented that his intention was never to hurt his co-stars (Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher). Following his rant, the actor didn’t make many public appearances and stopped giving interviews. However, series creator Chuck Lorre revealed that he is doing great.

Chuck Lorre Talked About Charlie Sheen’s Co-star

In 2023, Chuck Lorre, Charlie Sheen, and, Angus T. Jones reunited for a comedy series titled Bookie. Although T. Jones hasn’t talked in interviews since his fallout, Lorre gave the fans some update.

In an interview with Variety, Lorre revealed that Angus T. Jones was doing great outside of Hollywood. Talking about the past series and how he had changed so much over the years, here’s what Chuck Lorre had to say about T. Jones.

He’s doing great. He’s a terrific guy. It’s an extraordinary thing. We started working together, he was eight years old. He’s a little boy, right? With just uncanny comedic instincts, without thinking. It was just in his DNA.

He further talked about their reunion and how everyone was just happy to see him.

And to work together again, 20 years later, we had fun. It was a wonderful afternoon. Everybody had the same reaction: ‘Oh my God. You’re a grown man!’

After Charlie Sheen departed the series, Two and a Half Men had declining popularity as it ended in 2015. The show ran for a total of 12 seasons and received critical acclaim before the fallout and controversies.
