Scarlett Johansson Explained Her Choice Of Babysitter

Despite having great “trust” and good relationships with all of her Marvel co-stars, Scarlett Johansson chose Samuel L. Jackson aka Nick Fury for babysitting her daughter. Coming up with such an unexpected choice demanded a reason out of her. Thus, Johansson explained what made her choose Jackson over others.

Johansson trusts Jackson with her children

I mean, I trust all those guys so much. I’ve worked with all of them for such a long time, but you know, Sam, he has his own grown daughter; he’s got it figured out. I would totally trust him with my most precious piece of my heart.” Scarlett Johansson explained.

It is not unlikely for Jackson to wound up as Johansson’s top choice for a babysitter. Apart from having experience with kids and being a father figure, there’s also a history between Jackson and Johansson that is to be considered. Samuel L. Jackson has been a mentor to Scarlett Johansson which evidently influenced her decision.

Jackson, which she later passed on to Florence Pugh while shooting Black Widow. “‘Don’t kill yourself, kid!’ Sam Jackson said to me; it was something like that. So I took his advice.” the actress shared.

Thus, with Samuel L. Jackson appearing as a mentor figure in Scarlett Johansson’s life, the actress chose him to be her daughter’s babysitter without any hesitation.
