According to sources, since Timothée Chalamet has rarely spent time with the Kardashian-Jenner clan, the members of Jenner’s family are reportedly considering the star, “a red flag”. Insiders revealed that Kardashians have even warned the Kylie Cosmetics founder that the 28-year-old heartthrob isn’t serious about their relationship because otherwise he would have given more effort.
Timothée is obviously enjoying himself with Kylie, but when it comes to getting to know her family, he’s put in almost no effort and doesn’t seem to want to. Sure, he’s come to the occasional dinner or family gathering, like Easter, but that took a huge amount of effort on Kylie’s part. And the few times he has shown up he’s spent the majority of his time talking to her and practically ignored the rest of them.
Her sisters are telling her it’s a huge red flag, that if he was serious about anything long-term with her, he’d be making a lot more effort with them. Instead, he’s giving the impression that he thinks the Kardashians are beneath him, which they obviously find so insulting, and they’re telling her it’s clear he’s just using her for a good time.
However, despite her family’s incessant warnings, Kylie Jenner has allegedly told her family members “to stay out of her business”. The makeup mogul believes Timothée Chalamet should have “very limited time or association with her family.” According to reports, Jenner has been deliberately keeping Chalamet out of her family, considering the “drama that usually follows Kardashian men”.

Meanwhile, although the Kardashian-Jenner family has been reportedly considering Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner’s romance a bad match, they were previously happy about the couple, after they initially began dating. Back in June 2023, sources thus revealed to US Weekly, about how Jenner’s family has approved of Chalamet, considering that he’s “different” from the makeup mogul’s usual type.
Although the Kardashians now consider Timothée Chalamet’s behavior and disinterest towards them as “insulting”, they were initially happy to see him dating Kylie Jenner. Insiders had even revealed that Kris and Kendall Jenner approved of Chalamet due to his sense of humor and the way he made the 26-year-old smile.
Some of Kylie’s family members have met Timothée, including Kris and Kendall [Jenner]. They really like him and think he’s different from anybody Kylie has dated in the past. He has a great sense of humor, and he makes her smile, which is the most important thing to them. They love seeing how happy she is and absolutely approve of them dating.
Another source had reported back in 2023 that Kylie Jenner’s family considered Timothée Chalamet a “gentleman” based on how he treated her “with respect”.
