“The hook of our show is that he is a fake lawyer and it’s been a secret for a long time…I’ve just been waiting and waiting for this to be outed…[creator] Aaron Korsh is ready to bring this house of cards down and he likes to put himself in a corner and that gives us a lot of challenges.”

Macht also complimented creator Aaron Korsh’s process of putting himself in difficult situations to escape from for the main characters. Ross’ arrest was revealed in the tenth episode of season five, with the remaining six exploring the aftermath of it.

Gabriel Macht mentioned how it was even more challenging to navigate this as Mike Ross is guilty. He said,

“I mean, he [Mike Ross] is totally guilty. Let’s see how these guys get out of this one…It’s fun to see the family of these lawyers [namely] Jessica, Louis, and Donna, who are so loyal to each other, but have the potential to turn on each other. I think Harvey trusts these people implicitly, but questions do arise.”

Macht then went on to mention how the show brought in many of the recurring characters that were fan favorites that have the potential to have outed Ross.
