The Xbox Game Pass has been a game-changer for the community ever since it came out a few years ago. It allows players to experience different titles such as Atomic Heart or Lies of P with the help of a subscription regularly, something which nobody would have believed to be possible a decade ago.

Unfortunately, the game pass lacks in one particular area, it being the absence of any of the games made by Hidetaka Miyazaki, a renowned director and the president of FromSoftware. The addition of his games could have the same benefit Jiwon Choi revealed in his interview with GameRant Lies of P had when it was added to the subscription service.

Lies of P Director Reveals The Greatest Advantage Of Being Added To The Xbox Game Pass

Being added to the game pass does not only benefit one side, as it poses a win-win situation for everyone involved, including the players who get to play and enjoy different games. Talking about how joining the game pass helped Lies of P, director Jiwon Choi revealed:

“Lies of P is the first single-player game from Round8 Studio and a completely new IP. Joining Xbox Game Pass was one of the best options for us to get the game into the hands of a large community of players. The Xbox team ran a wide range of marketing campaigns for Lies of P, and I cannot reveal the exact number here, but a huge number of gamers have played our game through Xbox Game Pass. I believe both parties earned a very good result from this collaboration.”

The director essentially disclosed how launching the game with the subscription came with a huge benefit, as it allowed a large amount of players to experience and love the title they had made. This would not have been possible if they had not decided to take this step and informed that all the parties benefitted from it.

This is the exact advantage we think can benefit FromSoftware if they eventually decide to add Elden Ring, and hopefully other Soulslike games to the Xbox game pass. While the studio, unfortunately, has not revealed any intentions of doing it anytime soon, a perfect opportunity to go for it is going to arise in the coming time.

Why Elden Ring And Its Shadow of the Erdtree DLC Could Soon Be Added to Xbox Game Pass

Hidetaka Miyazaki is a man of wonders and millions of people look forward to whatever he is planning to release next. While his latest release already has a huge audience to cater to with the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, the franchise could benefit from a boost once the extension is finally released and the hype finally starts to go down.

The addition of the game and its DLC to the game pass should particularly not be a difficult challenge to accomplish, as they are already available on the platform, and the addition of a title to the list would do nothing but bring joy to the players of the community.
