During an appearance at University College Dublin in 2013, he was addressing the audience in the middle of his conversation with the host when he received an unexpected call from none other than his now-wife.
Instead of texting or hanging up the call, he chose to pick it up instead and updated her right away about what was going on at the time. After informing them that he was on the stage, he asked the audience to extend their greetings to his then-girlfriend before confessing his love back.
