Ford did become the face of Indiana Jones as he went on to star in sequels as the years passed by. And now, herein lies the comedy when it was time for Ford’s colonoscopy. In an interview with VarietyFord talked about how John Williams’ music had always followed him around so much so that even his colonoscopy doctors were playing it through the speakers!

“As I often remind John, his music follows me everywhere I go — literally. When I had my last colonoscopy, they were playing it on the operating room speakers.”

Although the actor talked about the incident in a funny way, it seems that Harrison Ford genuinely loves hearing Williams’ music. As the interview progressed, the Blade Runner actor revealed that there is only one other thing he does in his free time… and that is watching John Williams compose music.

“It’s a delight to see him work with the orchestra — just the pleasure of being able to sit in a room and process the remarkable attention that each beat of the music gets. And their respect for him and his respect for them is just so much fun to watch.”

Working alongside Harrison Ford and other veteran actors as well, John Williams is also accredited with composing the music of the Star Wars franchise during its earlier days. The iconic Indiana Jones theme can be heard in Raiders of the Lost Ark, which is available to stream on Disney+ in the U.S.
