Apart from blasting Will Smith through his jokes and callbacks to the infamous slapping incident, Chris Rock also went on to take a shot at Will Smith’s failed relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith. He continued that it wasn’t the joke that hurt smith but Jada Smith after she cheated on Smith with their son’s friend, August Alsina, and called them out for discussing this matter on the internet, referring to their 2020’s Red Table Talk. He said,

“Will Smith practices selective outrage. For everybody who doesn’t know, his wife was f*cking her son’s friend. She hurt him way more than he hurt me. OK? I tried to call that man and give him my condolences, he didn’t pick up for me.  Everybody called him a b*tch, and who did he hit? Me, he knows he could beat. That is some b*tch-a** shit!

Apart from taking shots at their entanglement issues, the Madagascar actor went on to admit that he used to admire Will Smith before his nonsensical outburst at the Oscars.

Chris Rock admitted that he used to admire Will Smith before the slapping incident

Apart from his blunt responses to the situation, Chris Rock also admitted that he previously admired Will Smith for the plethora of great projects that he had pumped out throughout his career. But the Madagascar actor didn’t shy away from taking another shot at the actor by jokingly stating that the only reason he watched Will Smith’s Emancipation was to witness Smith getting beaten, referring to Smith’s character Peter getting whipped in the movie. He said,

“I love Will Smith, my whole life. He makes some great movies. I have rooted for Will Smith my whole life, I root for this motherf*cker. And now, I watch ‘Emancipation’ just to see him get whooped.”
