Hogwarts Legacy was bashed for its main story design, as many people did not enjoy it as much as they did, with some of the side quests that are often overlooked when discussing the game in detail.
One side quest in the game that was so good and yet overlooked by many had the potential of turning into an entire main story of its own, and it needs to be paid more attention to and get the love it deserves.

Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world game with a lot to explore by doing side quests and helping your classmates out. Among the game’s many side quests, one stands out as one of the most well-deserved but underrated quests.
The side quest that needs more love than it currently gets is none other than the one in which you need to help your classmate find his sister. It is a well-thought-out side quest with a lot of attention to detail.
This side quest is good enough to be extended into a story of its own, as it has a lot of potential to be explored if one digs deep enough. Many people feel the same.

This side quest revolves around the story of a classmate’s ailing sister, who gets cursed by the goblins using dark magic, and the conflict between her uncle’s belief that there is no cure for her niece and her brother’s restraint on the idea and journey into finding a cure.
This makes for a great story arc to be incorporated into the main story. Hogwarts Legacy’s main story was hugely criticized for having a weak main story as it lacked depth and an emotional connection that many Harry Potter fans wanted to see.
Hogwarts Legacy Failed to Match the Expectation of Harry Potter Fans
Harry Potter is a widely celebrated franchise, and it is also one of the best fantasy novels/movies ever written. The franchise has accumulated a massive fanbase over the years due to its amazing world and characters.
Hogwarts Legacy started its journey from a point of heavy anticipation, as it had to match the expectations of audiences set by its predecessors.
However, when compared to the novels and movies, the game failed to satisfy the audience in the same way as its predecessors managed to do.
But on the other hand, it is also fair to mention that the bar set by the books and films was already too high to start with. It was brave for the game to take that leap and give the Harry Potter universe a shot for the gaming industry.
