Marilyn Monroe preferred intellectual and older men

Years following Marilyn Monroe‘s untimely death, Oscar-winning actress Shelley Winters reflected on her experience with the actress, before she made it big in Hollywood. Being roommates and in their early 20s, the two used to fantasize about men they wanted to sleep with, and made their respective lists comprising those names. And while Winters was into Hollywood Heartthrobs like Marlon Brando, The Seven Year Itch star was inclined towards more intellectual and older men, as Winters claimed Monroe’s list had no man under 50. Winter recalled,

“Marilyn (Monroe) and I lived together for a while when we were in our early 20s. One Sunday, we made a list of men we wanted to sleep with, and there was no one under 50 on hers,”

While recalling her memories, the Lolita star revealed one of the most notable names on the Gentlemen Prefer Blondes actress’ list was German-born Theoretical physicist Albert Einstein.

Did Marilyn Monroe ever sleep with Albert Einstein?

Considering Marilyn Monroe had a keen interest in more older and intellectual men, it’s reasonable to see why’d she fantasize about Albert Einstein, generally considered one of the greatest minds of all time. Although Winters never got the opportunity to ask Marilyn Monroe how many names from her list she had achieved, the actress did see a silver-framed autographed picture of the most influential scientist of all time on her white piano. She said,

“I never got to ask her before she died how much of her list she had achieved, but on her list was Albert Einstein, and after her death, I noticed that there was a silver-framed autographed picture of him on her white piano.”

Whether Monroe ever shared a romantic bond with Einstein remains under wraps, but it does seem the two did meet in person, which would explain the signed picture of him on the actress’ piano.
