Just in case you still have not had a chance to check out Horizon Forbidden West, it seems like it would be wise to wait just a little longer if you want to experience the game in its entirety. This is because the beloved action RPG may be getting a Complete Edition soon, according to a new rating given by a Singaporean board.

These ratings usually mean the title is very close to being released, so it is advised to be a bit patient before stepping into the shoes of the iconic heroine, Aloy, again.

The Complete Edition for Horizon Forbidden West potentially combines the full base game and all of the DLC that has been released for it so far, into one convenient collection.

Horizon Forbidden West was released last year in early 2022, so it has been quite a while since we joined Aloy on her journey across the post-apocalyptic Western United States that has been taken over by robots. Around a year after its original launch, its DLC called Burning Shores was exclusively released for the PlayStation 5 on April 19, 2023.

There have been a lot of assumptions regarding the sequel getting any more additional content, with many gamers thinking that maybe the title had reached its finish line.

However, a well-renowned rating board in Singapore recently rated a new Horizon Forbidden West title, which could possibly mean that an absolute complete edition of the second Horizon game could be released sometime between now and the end of the year.

The best part is that it could potentially also include the aforementioned DLC, which would truly make it the perfect bundle for both players who have still not played the game, and those who have been reluctant to buy its DLC separately.

The Singaporean game rating board is called the IMDA, or Infocomm Media Development Authority, and has officially listed the game’s Complete Edition exclusively for Sony’s PlayStation 5.

This latest update about Horizon Forbidden West was first realized by business analyst Roberto Serrano on Twitter/X, who shared the information with the gaming community with an authentic link to IMDA’s website. Apparently, Singapore’s official video game rating body directly approved Sony’s request to launch the Complete Edition of the game in Asia.

Fans of the Horizon series have all the reasons to get excited because this is the very first time that any details have come out about a new edition of the acclaimed sequel.

The new Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition listing perfectly falls in line with the latest rumors by a trusted insider, Jeff Grubb, who recently announced that a State of Play could be coming very soon. This means the new edition of the action RPG will likely be officially announced during that event.
