Baldur’s Gate 3 has been setting the world ablaze lately, but in addition to the fires burning in the hearts of its fans, there also rages a blaze in their loins as many fans have found themselves obsessed with the shockingly deep romance opportunities in the game. Sure to throw a bit of cold water on that raging lust, however, is the mind-bending revelation some fans are coming to that one of the most thirsted-after characters in the game, Astarion, has a voice that sounds unsettlingly similar to that of Stewie Griffin, the beloved matricidal infant genius from Seth MacFarlane’s Family Guy.

Understandably, many Baldur’s Gate 3 fans are deeply unsettled by this revelation. It’s one of those things that likely would never cross your mind in a lifetime until somebody points it out to you, and then it becomes all you can ever notice, like the arrow between the E and the X in the FedEx logo. So for all those fans who loved lusting after the sexy vampire man, take solace that your dismay over the similarities to the animated baby is not a solitary struggle.

Baldur’s Gate 3 features a bevy of romanceable characters and some surprisingly steamy situations to spice up the lives of those enjoying the game. While the comparison may potentially hurt the brains of those who first hear about it, the game does still have plenty else to offer aside from hot vampires and Family Guy soundalikes.

Fans have also pointed out that Astarion seems awfully similar to Prince Charming. Not the one from Cinderella, of course, that might be deemed a compliment. Rather, the Prince Charming from the ever-popular Shrek films, which, while hilarious and entertaining, may not be the sort of person one would be excited to find themselves compared directly to.

Soon, the game will even support crossplay in addition to its local co-op wonders, though when exactly this feature will drop is currently up in the air. Before that happens, the Xbox release will likely have to make its way into the world, which is now guaranteed thanks to the dropping of split-screen on the Series S.
