Although in the books, there has been no reference to what transpired between Lord Cregan Stark and Jacaerys Targaryen, the cast for the character of Cregan Stark has been revealed. As per the teaser, the role of Lord Cregan Stark will be portrayed by Tom Taylor. Taylor is known for portraying the role of Jake Chambers in the 2017 film The Dark Tower.

Lord Cregan Stark is famously known for being the half-ancestor of Jon Snow in the Game of Thrones universe. Falling in the lineage of Lyanna Stark, Cregan Stark is a half-ancestor of Jon Snow and it is up to the series to see how they handle his character. Although there isn’t much mention of Cregan Stark’s activities, the casting of Tom Taylor opens the room for more action in the second season of House of the Dragon.
