A major milestone has been achieved by modder fromsoftserve, as they’ve managed to fix the graphical issues that have been plaguing the unofficial port for weeks now.

With this particular mod for the Bloodborne PC port, the creator has managed to fix the graphical issues by AI-upscaling every single texture of selected regions in the game.

Upscaled Textures have arrived in Bloodborne PC!

It’s a tedious process, but the video clearly proves that their efforts were worth it. Currently, they’ve managed to upscale the entire Hunter’s Dream and Cathderal Ward area, upgrading things such as trees, books, rooms, wood, and much more.

With the following updates for the mod, the creator wishes to expand the visually enhanced areas. However, all of this comes down to the stability of the mod itself, as it’s still in its early stages of development.

Bloodborne fans are undoubtedly happy with the upscaling mod for the game’s PC port. However, it’s still crucial to keep your expectations in check as, as many players have said, Sony might just clamp down on the release of a third-party program that infringes on its copyrighted games.

The legality of such unofficial simulators has been a long issue in the industry. We’ve even seen Nintendo going against Yuzu, which was one of the most popular fanmade programs for emulating games.
