Rachel McAdams Might Have A Bigger Role in Doctor Strange 2
Rachel McAdams, who also played Christine Palmer in Doctor Strange (2016), is set to return as the character in the upcoming movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. How major would her role be in the movie? We would know for sure on the 6th of this month. But as of now, it seems that she might have a bigger role in the movie. Marvel released 6 character posters for the film, one of which reveals Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer. This might suggest a bigger role for her in the Doctor Strange sequel.

Earlier, producer Richie Palmer had revealed that Christine and Strange would not have a romantic relationship in the sequel. Palmer said, “They are not back together, unfortunately… as we saw at the end of Doctor Strange, he chose to stay in the Sanctum, meaning he can’t entertain his selfish desires,” Palmer said. “He would’ve loved to stay with Christine at the end of that movie, but he did the hard thing. He said, ‘No. I’m going to be a Super Hero and defend our reality. I have to move on.’ Our movie shows him dealing with the decisions he’s made. He might regret how things ended with Christine; he still carries a torch for her.”

Upcoming Movies Starring Rachel McAdams
Apart from her role as Christine Palmer in the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, McAdams would also star as Barbara, the mother to the title character Margret, in the upcoming film Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret. It is scheduled for release on September 16, 2022.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to release on May 6, 2022. Apart from Rachel McAdams, the film also stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, and Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier among others.
