Eminem’s Controversial Lyrics About Donald Trump’s Daughter

Eminem has indeed been synonymous with the word “controversy” since the beginning. But it wasn’t until 2017 that the rapper went above and beyond with his lyrics and seemingly infuriated a lot of people. Coming up with his Revival album, the singer wrote a song called Framed, wherein he attracted people’s attention with the particular lyrics.

Writing about then-president Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka in the song, according to DailyMail, Eminem appeared to have “threatened protectee” in the song which speaks of kidnapping Ivanka Trump. According to the lyrics, the singer first wrote,

Think I’m becomin’ a monster ’cause of the drugs that I’m on/Donald Duck’s on, there’s a Tonka Truck in the yard/But dog, how the f*** is Ivanka Trump in the trunk of my car?”.

The Secret Service Visited Eminem Over Threatening Lyrics

Thereafter, following the release of his song in 2017, the 51-year-old singer made headlines a year later for his new album Kamikaze, consisting of the song The Storm, which indicated he’d been visited by the Secret Service. Previously criticizing the then-president Donald Trump and his daughter in his 2017 music, the rapper made enemies with powerful people.

In the 2018 song, The Storm, Eminem took it personally and slammed Donald Trump by calling him “Agent Orange”, for sending the Secret Service to meet him. According to an interview with Sway Calloway via EminemMusic, the rapper claimed, “they came to my studio, yeah. They were basically asking me questions about my lyrics to see what the intent was behind them and if I was making an actual threat or just expressing myself.”

He’s too scurred to answer me with words ‘Cause he knows that he will lyrically get murdered/But I know at least he’s heard it/‘Cause Agent Orange just sent the Secret Service/To meet in person to see if I really think of hurtin’ him/Or ask if I’m linked to terrorists/I said, “Only when it comes to ink and lyricists.” The lyrics noted.

Eventually, the Secret Service refused to confirm Eminem’s claims when probed. They refrained from making any comments based on, “the absence or existence of specific investigations”. But according to the rapper and his lyrics, Donald Trump indeed sent people to talk with him.
