It’s a great movie … I love Will, I love Octavia [Spencer] … the song ‘Good Afternoon’, I laughed the entire way through, it is absolutely brilliant. Spirited unites the two comedians, Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell to rejuvenate Dickens’s classic novel as Reynolds sets the scene as an unredeemable businessman and Will Ferrell, the Ghost of Christmas Present sets his heart on redeeming him. The twist in the tale occurs when the audience discovers that Ferrell’s character himself is the infamous Scrooge, and Reynolds’s Clint Briggs finally reconciles with himself before taking up the role of Ghost of Christmas Present, letting Ferrell’s character live out his life on Earth as a redeemed human.
