Kratos is undeniably regarded as one of the most powerful — both in terms of strength and brutality on the battlefield — mythical figures in Greek mythology, often referred to even as the God of War.

However, even someone as strong as him would struggle to win a battle against the incredibly powerful superhero from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, aka The Strongest Avenger, aka the Hulk.

While the big green giant in himself in his usual form is as brutal as one can imagine, he has quite some variants in the comics as well, each with his own level of strength and abilities; and some of whom are just mighty deadly.

Thus, out of all those versions, here are three of the most scarily powerful Hulks that even someone like Kratos can’t defeat. Dig in!

3. The Worldbreaker Hulk

Though Kratos might be strong, the Worldbreaker Hulk is a much better and way stronger figure than the so-called Greek God of War himself. Literally regarded as one of the most famous and ferocious versions of the green giant, he could pretty easily defeat Kratos on the battlefield.

This version of the gamma-based figure was first seen in the Incredible Hulk #610 comic from 2010. He was created when he got stranded on planet Sakaar by the Illuminati. After he finally settled and adjusted himself to the place, his wife Caiera, and their unborn son ended up dying in an unforeseen tragedy as the very ship that brought him to the planet exploded.

Thus, enraged and filled with fury, the Annihilator wounds up absorbing the entire energy of the planet Sakaar, and with it, gains the so-called Old Power, i.e. the powerful energy flowing through Sakaar, which transforms him into a literal cosmic bomb, although a living and breathing one.

In fact, this massive amount of gamma absorbed by him had even made him capable of bringing entire planets to an end with his gamma release.

Adding to this is the unbelievable fact of how he was able to even take on the complete force of The Human Torch’s supernova attack and Storm’s lightning at the same time, all the while continuing to rage the devastation he started.

If anything, it was an orbital strike from Tony Stark’s satellites that took him to stop. Thus, even though Kratos could put up a fair fight, the Worldbreaker’s rage would most certainly overpower him and wouldn’t stop him from smashing Kratos about in the most crucifying way possible.

2. The Immortal Hulk

If you thought the Worldbreaker was a massively strong variant of the big green giant, prepare yourself to be mind-blown for the Immortal Hulk is at least ten times stronger than the one who gained the so-called Old Power.

One of the scariest versions of the gamma-based figure, he was created as a result of Bruce Banner and his gamma-radiation-turned-beast self going through multiple deaths and rebirths, which led to the Devil Hulk sealing his other incarnations away and becoming the chief persona of the Strongest Avenger.

Regarded as one of the most powerful incarnations of the green giant to date, the Immortal Hulk has a tremendous gamma burst ability which is more than just capable of exploding even someone like Dormamu apart.

First appearing in the Immortal Hulk Vol. 1 comic book that continued into a series, the gamma-radiated figure further can drain gamma from other mutates of gamma, along with the ability to even sense liars.

So, if Kratos appears in front of him in the Warfield and feels intimidated by him but lies and says that he isn’t and can still defeat him, then he should most certainly beware, for little to no one has been able to defeat this version of the Strongest Avenger in the fight.

1. The Breaker of Worlds Hulk

Although the names are similar, the Worldbreaker and the Breaker of Worlds are not the same versions of the Banner of the Apes. If anything, if the Worldbreaker version is powerful, then the Breaker of Worlds variant reigns supreme over all of them.

Referred to as the Hulk’s ultimate form, the gamma-based figure goes on to become even more lethal than the Devourer Of Worlds Galactus in the late future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe when he turns into the Breaker of Worlds after ten billion years.

While the previous ones could go so far as to spread devastation on planets or end up destroying them as a whole, the Breaker of Worlds can go even further and put an end to entire universes in an instant with his massive form that towers even above galaxies.

Brought to such immense power by the One Below All, who destroys the Bruce Banner of Earth-TRN781’s soul and manages to possess his body, he is notably the ninth incarnation of destruction and devastation, rendering everything that comes into his control dead.

In fact, this variant of the Hulk is renowned for devouring Franklin Richards, Galactus, and even Mister Immortal of his universe before going on to put an end to the Sentience of Cosmos; so what’s Kratos in front of him?
