Chadwick Boseman Kept Black Panther’s Kimoyo Beads

After making his debut with Captain America: Civil War and starring in a blockbuster Oscar-winning solo movie, Chadwick Boseman joined the ensemble cast of Avengers: Infinity War. While promoting the movie alongside his co-stars, including Chris Hemsworth, Karen Gillan, Josh Brolin, and Sebastian Stan, the actor was asked if he had any remembrances from the movie set.

He shared that he took the Kimoyo beads from Marvel sets. “I kept the beads, the Kimoyo beads. I have them on right now,” he said during a conversation with Jimmy Kimmel on his talk show. Kimoyo beads are one of the most impressive Wakandan technologies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that appear to have unlimited uses.

The beads are used to project a holographic image, and Shuri’s constant updates make it even more advanced as she uses it to remote pilot a random car in Busan from her lab and is also used by T’Challa in a later scene to stabilize the Everett Ross’ wound. The beads are also extremely attractive, and it doesn’t come as a surprise that the Black Panther star decided to keep it with him as a memento of his time as the Marvel superhero.
