A lawsuit has been filed against Vince McMahon, the co-founder of the modern WWE, by Janel Grant, a former employee at WWE. McMahon has been accused of s*x trafficking, s*xual assault, and paying to keep her quiet while she was working at WWE between 2019 and 2022. As per the lawsuit, McMahon abused her s*xually, physically and even exploited her to men.
Grant has also highlighted the graphic details of her interactions with McMahon but due to her NDA and constant threats from him, she wasn’t able to come forward earlier. Amidst this controversy, an old WWE promo has resurfaced on social media in which McMahon’s daughter, Stephanie McMahon, accused her father of intentionally setting her up with his “business associates” when she was 17 years old. McMahon even publicly admitted that he “deflowered her” and apologized to her on television.

As per The Washington Post, Janel Grant, a former employee at WWE, has filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, the co-founder of the modern WWE. The lawsuit highlighted that Grant signed an NDA and was constantly paid by McMahon to stay quiet. Grant worked at WWE’s headquarters in Connecticut, United States between 2019 and 2022.
Grant alleged that she was subjected to “extreme cruelty and degradation” by McMahon, and in order to cover it up, the WWE chief agreed to pay her $3 million in 2022 in return for an NDA. However, he stopped paying after only $1 million. WWE executive John Laurinaitis and a WWE wrestler who was also a former UFC fighter have also been named in the lawsuit. She also stated that McMahon made “a schedule for when other men … could have s*x” with her in order to complete his business deals.

In an old promo for WWE, Vince McMahon’s daughter, Stephanie McMahon accused her father of trafficking her to his “business associates” when she was 17 years old. In the video Stephanie McMahon says,
“I am sorry that all my life, I’ve let you manipulate me and use me – all my life just to be the apple of my daddy’s eye. Every time, I went out to dinner with one of your business associates, I was 17 years old. You don’t think they told me what you promised them I’d do? and guess what dad, I did it. I did it for you, the things I did with them and I am ashamed of myself – I am ashamed of myself that I am just like you.”
McMahon later admitted to “deflowering” his daughter and apologized for it. Over the years, he has been involved in many controversies. In fact, in August 2022, CNBC revealed that the WWE disclosed $19.6 million in unrecorded payments McMahon made to settle s*xual misconduct claims between 2006 and 2022.
