Sandra Bullock starred in the sequel to her hugely successful 1994 film Speed called Speed 2: Cruise Control in 1997. The film turned out to be a huge flop and Bullock has expressed her regret of starring in the film. Almost 25 years later, while promoting her new film The Lost City alongside Daniel Radcliffe, she is still embarrassed by her association with the film. She told TooFab,

“Yeah, you stumped me with the fans coming around later on. I have one that no one came around to, and I’m still embarrassed I was in it. It’s called Speed 2, I have been very vocal about it, it makes no sense. Slow boat, slowly going towards an island. That’s one I wished I hadn’t done and no fans came around.”

Bullock has made many successful and highly superior films after the Speed 2: Cruise Control debacle. Hence this failure is like a small dent in a career that has spawned 30+ years.
