“We [Bryan Cranston and his brother] took a 2-year motorcycle ride across the United States in the mid-70s. It was the greatest thing, we picked up jobs here and there and one time we were in Daytona Beach, staying for a while to earn some money. We got a job at a Polynesian restaurant called the Hawaiian Inn and at the Hawaiian Inn, we were all waiters. The head chef was a guy named Peter Wong. Now Peter was a good chef — and a horrible person. He was the first person I ever met who I just realized, ‘Oh my God, I hate this guy.’ I don’t think I’ve ever hated someone before Peter Wong. He was not a nice guy.”

Cranston even added that all the waiters of the inn would talk about killing Peter Wong and he would even think of slicing the rude head chef in tender slices.

“He was miserable and mean. I mean he would just shout and yell at you. So during the waiter meeting before every night, they would tell us what to push on the menu. We would all talk about how each one of us would kill Peter Wong if \we had the opportunity. So I said, ‘I’m just thinking I will slice him up, not dice him up, I will slice him, all tender slices.”

“My brother and I hop on our motorcycles and we take off again to go up north. Policemen came into the Hawaiian inn and gathered everybody who was left of the staff. They say, ‘We would like to ask about Peter Wong’. Everybody is wondering what’s going on. They said, ‘Has anybody ever talked about hurting or killing Peter Wong.’ and all the waiters were like, ‘Yeah all of us.’ And they said, ‘Anybody who is not here talked about killing Peter.’ Well, the Cranston brothers. When did they leave? Well, they left about a week ago on their motorcycles. And they said that fits the timeline. Cause Peter was murdered and they were looking for us.”
