Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were the ‘It couple’ of Hollywood, but their relationship was short-lived and break-up riddled with rumors. While Pitt was linked to allegedly cheating on the FRIENDS star with co-star Angelina Jolie, Aniston was said to be extremely heartbroken and devastated over the whole affair.
While neither of the rumors were true, as Aniston herself stated their divorce was more amicable than hostile, it was nonetheless bad for the actress. However, fortunately, a co-star came as a knight in shining armor for her, helping her get through the hard times. It was Aniston’s The Break-Up co-star Vince Vaughn who helped her move on.
Jennifer Aniston Regards Vince Vaughn Her Saviour After Divorce
Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn dated for about a year and a half, falling for each other while shooting their romantic comedy The Break-Up back in 2005. It was for the actress to star in a movie about break-up, since she was literally going through a break-up a that time. But instead, she described her experience as a fantastic one (via Elle).
However, her ‘fantastic’ experience was also because of her co-star Vaughn, who many described as ‘really looking after her’ during that tumultuous time. As for Aniston, she stated her co-star and former boyfriend was like all the colors of the rainbow. In a separate interview with Vogue, in 2008, she remarked,
“I call Vince my defibrillator. He literally brought me back to life. My first gasp of air was a big laugh! It was great. I love him. He’s a bull in a china shop. He was lovely and fun and perfect for the time we had together. And I needed that. And it sort of ran its course.”
Regarding him as a literal savior, the two have since moved on with their lives after their breakup but continue to be friends.

Jennifer Aniston’s Divorce With Brad Pitt Was Painful But Not ‘That Bad’
Divorce is never easy, no matter how amicable the split may be. For Jennifer Aniston, her divorce with Brad Pitt was hard and painful but she feels it wasn’t as bad of an experience as the media made it out to be. While talking to Vogue, back in 2008, the Murder Mystery star stated,
“Well, it never was that bad. I mean, look, it’s not like divorce is something that you go, ‘Oooh, I can’t wait to get divorced!’ It doesn’t feel like a tickle. But I’ve got to tell you, it’s so vague at this point, it’s so faraway in my mind, I can’t even remember the darkness. I mean, in the end, we really had an amicable split. It wasn’t mean and hateful and all of this stuff that they tried to create about Brad can’t talk to Jen and Jen can’t talk to Brad because this person won’t allow it.”
However, Aniston and Pitt’s relationship has since turned out well, as they seem to have rekindled their friendship while continuing to support and cheer for each other.
The Break-Up can be streamed on Amazon Prime.
