It seems that the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot has found its The Thing in actor Ebon Moss-Bachrach. With the actor portraying the role of Richard Jerimovich in the iconic series The Bear, the actor had a unique way of alleging that he might be the next person to join the MCU.
Neither confirming the fact nor being unable to deny it, Ebon Moss-Bachrach found himself in an awkward spot at the 2024 Emmys. The Thing, who is a core member of the team, will allegedly be played by Moss-Bachrach and fans are happy about it!
Ebon Moss-Bachrach Might Be The Thing in The Upcoming Fantastic Four Reboot!
Starring in several iconic projects like The Bear, No Hard Feelings, and, The Punisher, Ebon Moss-Bachrach has proved himself as a worthy actor again and again. The actor recently gave an interview at the Emmys to The Wrap and talked about rejoining the MCU!
When asked about rejoining the MCU, Moss-Bachrach stated a single line that could seem to indicate that the actor might be joining in the role of The Thing. The actor stated that he can neither confirm nor deny the rumor.
“I can’t confirm, and I can’t deny I think!”
The “I can’t deny” thing seems to hint that the actor doesn’t want to lie but doesn’t want to reveal the truth either. Fans had quite a reaction to the alleged news as they took to X (formerly Twitter) to offer their views.

With high ratings and constant use of swear words, The Bear received a rating of TV-MA. In an interview with PEOPLE, Ebon Moss-Bachrach talked about how it was a privilege to work on such a fantastic series.
“These ideas about comedy and drama are a little bit outdated. We’re all just trying to reflect the mess of being human, which is deeply hilarious and we’re all suffering.”
He further continued,
“Those are serious circumstances. That’s full drama. But I think when you play things for keeps and the circumstances are kind of wild about getting a C…nobody wants to take ownership of that C…it becomes pretty funny.”
The series received a high rating of 8.6/10 on IMDB and a whopping 99% on Rotten Tomatoes. With high ratings and winning 10 Primetime Emmys, the series is available to stream on Hulu in the U.S.
