Quentin Tarantino Wants Bruce Willis In His Final Film

Quentin Tarantino’s tenth movie will be set in the 1970s as The Movie Critic will mark his final film as well. To make the film even more special, he wants to pay tribute to Bruce Willis. The actor has left a mark on everyone because of how impactful his entire career has been. Unfortunately, because of both degenerative brain disorder aphasia, and frontotemporal dementia, he had to retire from acting.

“Bruce has the look of a 50s actor. I can’t think of any other star that has that look.”

Tarantino is yet to take permission from his family about whether or not they would be okay with a cameo by the actor. Whatever decision they take, the director would respect their choice regardless and work accordingly. In his vision, there is no better actor than Willis to play an actor from the 50s. More so, his talent is one which he dearly adores and appreciates.

Quentin Tarantino Has A Backup Plan

Quentin Tarantino has known Bruce Willis ever since they first collaborated for Pulp Fiction. He is a huge fan of Willis’s work and is willing to bend to whatever request his family puts forward. However, he would understand if the actor is too sick to play the part. If that happens though, he does have a plan of honoring the actor regardless of his involvement in the movie.

“If that’s the case, he aims to try to work a brief clip from one of Bruce’s many previous movies into the film.”

Tarantino is ready to use old clips from the actor’s filmography but he will be included in the film no matter what. His adoration for Willis has brought about this determination to make the actor a part of the film whether it is by his actual involvement or some playbacks of his old films.

The Movie Critic will begin production in the fall of 2023.
