On 3rd June, the actor celebrated his 61st birthday at the Australian premiere of his upcoming movie, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. During this, the actor looked back on where he was and what he did on the same day a year before.

On Monday, Tom Cruise mentioned that on that a year from this day, he celebrated his birthday while filming his upcoming movie, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, alongside, Hayley Atwell, known for her work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Peggy Carter, and Simon Pegg, who is known for his role in The Boys. He ended up hosting a massive party full of A-list celebrities
“I’m 60 and I completely crushed them,” recalled the actor.
The actor revealed that he celebrated his 60th birthday with the two comic book actors, Atwell and Pegg and they all participated in a dance-off. The Top Gun actor also added that he ended up beating the two in this, ending it with a jazz split.
What Did Tom Cruise Do For His Birthday This Year?
When asked how he wanted to celebrate his birthday this year, the actor revealed that he woke up at four in the morning, like he does every day, and mentioned that he had dinner plans after the premiere. He then talked about the birthday wishes and gifts he received from his fans, which he was very happy about, thanking his fans for coming to the premiere.
He mentioned that his fans presented him with many gifts for his birthday, including a lot of flowers. He was also gifted a helmet at the premiere in Sydney, where he mentioned that though he is very grateful for it, he would likely not need it due to the speed at which he rides his bike, which is very slow. The actor jokes that he was very scared of himself so he did not trust riding a bike at fast speeds.
