However, she acknowledged the prevalence of predatory behavior in the industry, particularly towards those who start their careers at a young age, like herself. She also recalled feeling uneasy at times but noted that such things did not escalate significantly. She shared,

“I could have been a potential target for a predator, but luckily, I wasn’t. There were a few times when things felt uncomfortable, but they never escalated too much, thankfully.”

The Dark Angel star attributed her safety to the presence of her mother, as she shared that she was there for her all the time and helped her to navigate the challenges. “Having my mom with me all the time really made a difference,” she said.

The 42-year-old actress also stated that although she was fortunate to have not encountered significant negative experiences herself, many other child stars have not been as lucky.

During her interview, Jessica Alba also reflected on her approach to acting and the emotional barriers she faced throughout her career. She shared that she never let her guard down as an actress and maintained a tough demeanor. Alba told Elle India,
