Colombian actress Natalia Reyes began her acting career at a young age and starred in various Colombian television productions. She became a well-known name in Hollywood after she starred as Daniella “Dani” Ramos in Tim Miller’s 2019 movie, Terminator: Dark Fate.

The movie was the actress’ first big Hollywood project so she couldn’t mess up the opportunity to work with big stars like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton. Reyes played Dani in the movie, a character that played a crucial role in the storyline. Despite James Cameron’s efforts to revive the franchise, Terminator: Dark Fate was a failure, taking away Reyes’ stardom as well.

Colombian star Natalia Reyes’ start in Hollywood wasn’t a massive hit. She starred as Dani in Terminator: Dark Fate (2019). In a 2019 interview with IANS Life, she said,

“For me everything was new. It was my first time in Hollywood, and that too Terminator. It’s a huge franchise. I could not even think of messing it up. There’s Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton in it. One can imagine the value of the film. So there’s a lot of pressure on me.”

In the movie, her character was hunted by Rev-9, the main antagonist of Terminator: Dark Fate, played by Gabriel Luna.

“English is not my language. We shot in Spain and Hungary, not in my country. I was exposed to a lot of new things while shooting the film. It was quite challenging and a different experience.”

At the time, the actress concluded by saying she is “blessed to be a part of such a huge franchise.Terminator: Dark Fate wasn’t a bad film, however, it failed to introduce new characters who could replace Hamilton and Schwarzenegger. It wasn’t the end of the franchise as it was revealed in May 2023 that James Cameron is writing the next Terminator movie.
