In a 2012 interview with Vanity Fair, they stated that the film led them to have some terrifying nightmares. One of the highlights of the whole interview was Miller’s viewpoint on the main character Kevin. They described that they felt a connection with the troubled teen. While the interview indirectly showed us Ezra Miller’s dark past, the fans were surprised when they claimed that they could relate to the character very much.

“I read the screenplay and it was this amazingly dark character who I could understand on many different levels. I could understand the intellectual justification that he was weaving for himself to rationalize his actions. More than that, I could really relate to something at the core of his emotional experience”

The Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them actor’s acting skills and their on-screen relationship with Tilda Swinton were widely appreciated. The 30-year-old also stated that a friend of theirs felt uncomfortable around them after the release of the movie. But sadly, unexpected to everybody, the fear for the individual turned real after a series of incidents ruined one of the most talented actors.

The Flash is expected to be the last DC appearance of the actor as the iconic speedster after they have lost many roles due to their wrongdoings. But there are still some doubts as the DCU co-heads Peter Safran and James Gunn didn’t give any clear statement. The upcoming movie featuring Ezra Miller, Ben Affleck, Michael Keaton, and others is going to give the superhero universe a soft reboot. It would be also interesting to see if they keep Miller for their future but undoubtedly that will be a highly controversial decision if that happens.

The Flash will be released on June 16, 2023.
