Jessica Alba’s Encounter With A Paranormal Entity

When people are encountered with otherworldly beings, they tend to get scared because the very existence of a metaphysical entity overrules the nature of reality, and makes us question the laws of life and death. Such was with the Sin City actress, Jessica Alba when she encountered a ghost in her childhood home.

During an interview with Sunshine Daily, the actress recalled the time when she was 17, and an entity attacked her, which scared her so much that she could not call for help.

“I had no idea what it was. I felt this pressure and I couldn’t get up, I couldn’t scream, I couldn’t talk, I couldn’t do anything. Something definitely took the covers off me and I definitely couldn’t get off the bed, and then, once I did, I screamed, ran to my parents’ room and I don’t think I spent many nights in that house ever again!”

Alba continued that she was sure that there was a ghost in her parents’ house, which she can not explain to other people. However, her parents got their house blessed and started burning sage after the horrifying encounter.

There was definitely something in my parents’ old house. I don’t know what it was. I can’t really explain it. But they got it blessed and they burned sage and stuff since then.”

Despite moving out of her childhood home, the actress has admitted how even after so many years, she gets nightmares about the incident which has shaken her to her very core.

Jessica Alba’s The Eye Is an Eerie Watch

Released in 2008 The Eye is a creepy movie telling the story of Sydney Wells played Jessica Alba, who goes under a cornea transplant and soon after starts watching petrifying visions. The movie creates a creepy and suspenseful environment, that would make the audience sit at the edge of their seats, anticipating what will occur in the next scene. The critics praised the movie for taking a different step, than a regular horror narrative.

In addition to creating an outstanding environment and taking a different approach to the film, fans and critics praised the actress for her outstanding portrayal of a person who starts watching creepy images after her cornea operation. While this film is a remake of the Hong Kong horror titled Jian Gui, it is a great watch, and people who tend to enjoy horror films should definitely add this film to their list.
