James Gunn has big plans for Booster Gold

In 1986, Dan Jurgens created this character in Booster Gold #1, and it has since gone on to become a full-fledged member of the Justice League. Michael Jon Carter, who is also known as Supernova, Waverider, and Gold Star is now set to become a household name thanks to DC. In the January presentation of DCU where it shared its plans for its new phase, James Gunn revealed his intentions with the character,

“Think of it basically as a story of a superhero’s imposter syndrome. And how do you deal with that? How does he try to use this future technology to be loved by people today? And what is really the base of that and it’s a character study.”

Although no details are yet confirmed, Gunn, and the actors including Seann William Scott, Glen Powell, and Chris Pratt all are excited to work on the project. Fans on the other hand are equally excited to see what the DCU has in store for them.
