Is Emma Watson Retiring?

Emma Watson‘s recent statements in the Financial Times magazine have sparked concerns among her fans on the internet, leading to speculations about whether their beloved actress is bidding farewell to acting for good.

While it may not be entirely accurate, Watson mentioned that she is content at the moment and is willing to patiently wait for the right opportunity to come her way, rather than hastily accepting any project that comes along. She stated.

“Yes, absolutely. But I’m happy to sit and wait for the next right thing. I love what I do. It’s finding a way to do it where I don’t have to fracture myself into different faces and people. And I just don’t want to switch into robot mode any more. Does that make sense?”

“I think I felt a bit caged,–The thing I found really hard was that I had to go out and sell something that I really didn’t have very much control over. To stand in front of a film and have every journalist be able to say, ‘How does this align with your viewpoint?’ It was very difficult to have to be the face and the spokesperson for things where I didn’t get to be involved in the process.”

The actress has recently been seen pushing her family business, speaking of dipping her toes into a totally new prospect, the actress stated,

“There was definitely a gap when Alex took more of a role here. But now that I’m not making films every year there’s a bit more time to play with. For me, getting involved with the creative side of the gin has been fun because I have a voice and I can bring everything that I’ve learnt to help. Alex is the expert on gin, and dad is the expert on wine, but it’s really nice to be asked to be involved.”

All in all, Emma Watson seems happy with her life currently. After all, she is thirty(three), flirty, and thriving!
