During the interview with People magazine, Mark Wahlberg revealed his new workout plans. He stated that he doesn’t lift as heavy as he did in his younger years. However, the Uncharted star has one regret. He said:

“I target muscle groups. I don’t have to lift as heavy, but I have to have better form, a longer hold, and a longer squeeze … I just wish I would’ve listened to the people who were trying to tell me these things and give me this kind of advice 20 years ago.”

But, Wahlberg believes in the saying better later than never, because his smart training has allowed him to rest better at his age. As a result, he can now do more in his life. Wahlberg said:

“I’ve gotten to the point where I rely on it just to be able to get up and conquer my day as a dad and a businessman. Just being motivated to continue to try to inspire people and utilize those talents and gifts that I’ve been given for whatever specific reason those gifts have been bestowed upon me.”

The actor isn’t done acting. He still has a plethora of projects lined up like Arthur the King. Fans are also eagerly waiting for him to return to the Transformers franchise. But whether that happens or not, remains to be seen.
