However, eventually, after a few months, Charlize Theron cleared up the speculations when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. Denying any sort of longstanding feud with fellow actress, Theron cleared up her audience’s doubt while plugging her movie Long Shot.
Charlize Theron And Brad Pitt’s Dating Rumor
After meeting at a shoot for the watch company, Breitling, Charlize Theron, and Brad Pitt made headlines over a rumored romance. Following the release of a sneak peek at the company’s campaign in September 2018, media outlets were quick to drop gossipy headlines over the A-lister’s secret romance.
In January 2019, The Sun claimed that Pitt and Theron struck up a romance during Christmas. The news outlet asserted that the duo met after splitting up with their ex-partners and kindled their romance over a few months. However, sources close to Brad Pitt and Charlize Theron claimed the rumors to be entirely false.
“They have not been out together recently, and were never dating” sources revealed. They further mentioned, the duo “did a shoot together six months ago…Reports of them being involved romantically are false,” Although insiders denied rumors of romance, media outlets began speculations of an alleged feud between Charlize Theron and Angelina Jolie.
Charlize Theron Denies Alleged Feud With Angelina Jolie
After insiders firmly rejected romance rumors between Charlize Theron and Brad Pitt, outlets began reporting about Angelina Jolie‘s interference in their romance. Sparking rumors of an alleged fight between the fellow actresses, outlets tried keeping the buzz alive.
However, after almost four months of the initial dating rumor, Charlize Theron appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in May 2019. She was thus asked by a fan, if there was any real “beef” between her and Jolie, or if it was “a classic case of the media pitting two people against each other”. That’s when Charlize Theron answered, “Yes, 100 percent,”.
Agreeing with the fans’ suspicion of the media drumming up a fake feud, Theron stated, “I don’t know her very well. I know her from events, but she’s always so lovely”. The actress further added, “We really don’t know each other. We’re not friends or hang out, but she’s never been nothing but gracious and lovely and warm.”
Charlize Theron took the opportunity to purposefully clear out rumors of an alleged feud between her and Jolie. While previously, the Oscar winner simply laughed off the report of a secret romance with Brad Pitt by saying that she has been single for a long time.
