Another actor who similarly loves action cinema like Reeves does is none other than Tom Cruise. His death-defying stunts in the Mission Impossible films have shown that no one can dare to do what he does on screen to entertain audiences. Hence, it is natural to imagine them coming together to create magic. Reeves has his own idea for a possible Cruise team-up film.
Keanu Reeves Wants to Fight Alongside Tom Cruise, Not Against
Keanu Reeves and Tom Cruise are two actors who are giving the younger generation a run for their money about how determined they are to make things as practical and authentic as possible. Despite being in their late 50s and early 60s, both still continue to push their bodies and do their own stunts in their action films, which is an inspiring feat.
When Reeves was asked about a possible collaboration with Cruise, he expressed his admiration for the Top Gun: Maverick star about the level of commitment he has in making his films. He also revealed that he would like to fight alongside him against a common enemy in a potential film. Reeves told ExtraTV,
“I don’t know if he’s an inspiration, he’s just amazing. Yeah, he’s just incredible. You know, what he does, I mean we know him as this great actor. I don’t know, maybe we can be side by side with a common goal.”
It would be extremely exciting to see Reeves and Cruise side by side in an action film With both actors preferring practicality over CGI, the film would be an absolute treat for action cinema aficionados and their chemistry would be an interesting one to witness on screen.

John Wick 5 Is Currently Being Written According to The Head of Lionsgate
Keanu Reeves’ John Wick had a seemingly definite ending (death) in John Wick: Chapter 4. With the film becoming the highest-grossing film in the franchise and the most beloved, it seems the heads at Lionsgate have no intention to let go of the character anytime soon.
During a Lionsgate quarterly earnings call, Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Chairman Joe Drake revealed that a fifth John Wick film is currently being written along with various spin-off films. He said, (via Comicbook.com)
“On the Wick side, we got multiple spin-offs and Wick Five. We started to work on (it) right when the writer’s strike started and we’ve gotten back to work as soon as it ended.”
It remains to be seen how they explain the supposed death of John Wick at the end of Chapter 4 if they went on to make a fifth one. The Continental series also had its run on Peacock. The spin-off film Ballerina starring Ana de Armas is scheduled to release next year on June 7, 2024.
