Through their nostalgic trip down memory lane in which they recalled their genuine love, respect, and admiration for each other over 17 years of friendship, Jackman and Reynolds showed that being famous was only secondary to being friends.

I know I can’t just fix it but I can communicate all of that to them.

Jackman was all praise for his friend and co-star’s inate ability to constantly be in touch with his emotional self. He revealed to Reynolds that he was inspired by him to do the same with his own children and learn to communicate more openly and honestly with them.
