Learning something while filming Spider-Man: No Way Home, Zendaya told Variety in 2021, that she doesn’t have any interest in playing a superhero. Unwilling to wear a cape and save the world, the young actress mentioned being fine with her radical roles. Insisting to stay away from a superhero opportunity, the 26-year-old said, “No, thank you”.

If there’s anything I’ve learned from that, it’s I don’t think I want that. Being a superhero is not all that it’s cracked up to be, especially when you have supervillains from other universes” Zendaya mentioned.
